Every once in a while I randomly see something cool about my band and it makes me pretty stoked. I just stumbled upon some random review of the first Eddie Brock demo tape on some thrash blog thing called “Shark Attack”.
Released through Thrashmouth (who are mentioned later on in this here issue), this ep isn’t bullshitting when it claims to be powerviolence. This ep is essentially 8 minutes of canned rage, vented through the medium of punk-rock tinged grindcore (to make a result that sounds like Insect Warfare breeded with Blood for Blood). Incoherent-maybe, short-definitely, full of unfocused rage-totally. This Ep somewhat encapsulates everything John Peel loved about Napalm Death, the music is short and sweet, full of bile and can only be purchased via tape cassette. Conclusion. Find a copy.
Feels good, man.
